My two evening photography groups named Beginners digital Photography and Advanced Creative Photography have been busy uploding htier photographs to the FenArtPhoto group on Flickr over the past six weeks. Since starting the course they have come on leaps and bounds with htier technical ability and creativity. Summer Fashion Photography Workshop @ ADeC in Ely

In AugustI delivered a fashion workshop at the ADeC headquarters in Ely, cambs. This was a pilot project to introduce the young people of Cambridgeshire to a series of summer fashion workshops. Since the success was shared by all and each participant took a series of stylish photographs of the two (volunteering) models. The day included discussing the history and techniques of fashion photography via a PowerPoint using a series of YouTube videos and demonstartions. This was followed by a posing demo using the valuable reflectors to bounce the light into the shadows and compose the models into a range of poses within the delightful picturesque Ely locations. This workshop also gave me a chance to apply my PGCE skills within a gallery / workshop setting as well as gain experience with teaching photography to 13 year olds who were all absolutely brilliant and a joy to work with. I do hope they go onto being fashion photographers in teh future.
